Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 tb Blue Canyon Farm Culinary Lavender

Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Add sugar to water in a saucepan, and stir until dissolved. Add lavender buds and stir well. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over a medium heat. Remove from heat, squeeze just a bit of fresh lemon juice, and stir. Steep until cooled. Pour through a fine mesh strainer, pressing lavender squeeze that last bit a flavor! The lavender will be a light golden color. If you are giving it as a gift or using it on ice cream or waffles, then add 1 drop of blue and 2 drops of read food coloring when it has cooled.
Pour into a sterile bottle and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
