Ingredients:
- 6 c water
- ½ c granulated sugar
- ¼ c honey
- 4 Tbs culinary lavender
- 2 c freshly squeezed lemon juice (10-12 lemons)
Over a medium heat, combine 2 cups of water and the sugar. Bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, add lavender and honey, and allow the mixture to steep for 2 hours, then strain.
In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice, lavender mixture, and the remaining 4 cups of water. If you like, add a couple of drops of blue or purple food coloring. Chill before serving. Garnish with fresh lemon slices.
