INGREDIENTS:
- 2-3 lemons (for juice and presentation)
- 1 orange (optional)
- Blue Canyon Farm Gourmet Pepper
- Blue Canyon Farm Lavender Salt
- Fresh Culinary Lavender (optional)
- Butter
- 1 side of salmon
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Rinse salmon and pat dry.
- Squeeze juice of 1 lemon evenly over salmon (more if needed depending on size of salmon)
- Grind Lavender Salt over salmon (sparingly, the pepper blend has a small amount of salt as well)
- Grind Lavender Pepper over salmon until completely covered (not a crust of pepper, but a thick layer)
- Slice lemons and lay rounds over top of salmon (alternate orange slices if using)
- Put fresh lavender sprigs on top of dressed salmon (optional but recommended)
- 3 or 4 pats of butter spread evenly
- Wrap salmon in foil; tenting foil over salmon
- Bake at 400 for around 15 min. (Rule of thum is 10 minutes per 1" thickness of salmon)
