Lavender Honey Nuts

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp of Blue Canyon Farm Culinary Lavender, ground or whole
  • 24 oz. of raw nuts - we love a mix of cashews, pecans, and almond
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt flakes

INSTRUCTION

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Heat the honey and lavender in a saucepan over a medium-low heat until it's thin, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a large saucepan or skillet, heat the nuts over low heat. Toss constantly until they are fragrant and slightly toasted. Remove from the heat, and mix the honey/lavender mixture in, stirring until nuts are thoroughly coated.
  4. Spread the honey nuts out on the parchment paper in a single layer. Sprinkle with the flaked salt. Let them sit and dry for 2-3 hours.. Break apart and serve with your next charcuterie spread. They are such a hit!
